Roots of the Wych Elm

In the center of the village sits an ancient wych elm, gnarled, twisted, and hungry. Every cycle, someone in town must be Given to the wych elm...or else. The one who decides which neighbor to Give is you.

As village chief, you walk around town, get to know the citizens, and when you’re ready, you choose who you will Give to the wych elm from the people you talked to. Different choices mean different narrative outcomes. Will you reach the root of the mystery of the wych elm?
